Probus has launched the Probus PT-2250 with great fanfare that taps on to a large market segment. The PT-2250 delivers advanced performance for users who want the very best out of a POS terminal. The large 15” screen gives you a wide viewing area to fit maximum content to work on. With an IP66 rating, the front panel avoids dust and water damage to the machine. This is possible due to the Ingress Protection Technology used. The ultra-thin touch screen can register up to 10 touch points which boosts your productivity by helping you drag, drop and multi-task more efficiently. Comes pre-installed with Windows 10.

Processing power that starts with the Intel® Celeron® Processor J1900 which can be maxed up to Intel® Skylake Core™ i5-6500TE Processor. There are two mid-range processors too such as the Intel® Skylake Core™ i3-6100TE Processor & the Intel® Skylake Celeron® G3900TE Processor. 4GB RAM (upgradable to 16GB) with 128GB HDD (upgradable)

The 2250 comes with a host of connectivity options that it supports through a wide array of ports that are neatly tucked under the machine. 4 X USB 3.0, 2 X USB 2.0 ports out of which 2 X 12v Powered USB & 1 X 24v Powered USB, RJ11 port to support cash drawers, LAN port, COM port and much more.

The 2250 is also offered with an additional CDU (Customer Display Unit) at 10.1” screen with resolution of 1280 X 800 for an extra AU$308 Inc. GST. The CDU is great at almost all billing counters as it helps the customer knows what he’s been billed for and a dispute is avoided after the order is processed. Sides of the display are equipped with ports to add an integrated 2D scanner or card reader to the system at a convenient location for faster scanning and payments.

The Probus PT-2250 has an amazing Multi Touch screen Packed in a 15” Projected Capacitive Technology widescreen panel for sleek performance. This capacity can register up to 10 touch points. Easy drag-drop, swap-slide, pinch and zoom boosts work productivity and helps you to efficiently multi-task.

Under the sturdy die-cast aluminium chassis of the 2250 is a fan less architecture that runs silently while being energy efficient.

The device is available in two classy colours Space Grey and Black & Space Grey and White.
